Oh man. I guess Randy's idea to record audio worked! After the shoot the actors went into the car and recorded the dialog straight into the camera's mic. Car turned out to be really good soundproof area (for on-the-spot recording).

Also, added some music to the clip. It flows together really well.

wow, today is 10 10 10! Looks like a crazy date..

Today finished shooting Azul Grande. One actor didnt show up, but the shoot still workout very well!

The tackle scene turned out to be fantastic. I wish I had second camera to capture the Grande's fall, but I ll just have to use two different cuts..

Overrall it was a good shoot, with great angles! Need to start editing!

Found pretty good location for this weeks short Azul Grande. Its little boring looking, the back of a building, but i think with the right scene mood I can make it work.

Did a couple of minor touch ups for the script, to give it more action feel. The challenge that im facing is to make this 30 second short to to tell a story that extends beyond time limit. Need to show two different cop's attitudes towards the suspect, and how they handle the situtation.
I guess the idea that im running off is a major overreaction of police on the situation.
But I ll see if I can pull it off.

Yesterday i got up pretty early to go do some location scouting in downtown seattle. Had small incident happening of some moron bugging me while i had my camera out. That raised me a concern about how will an actual shooting dat be like, during a weekend. I might have to move it to another smaller city..

As far as Rojo Grande - Beau got blue wrestling mask, instead of red, so we ll have to rename out wrestler to Azul Grande, or whatever "blue" is in spanish.

Will shoot it on sunday, at noon. Forecast predicts rain, but we ll work around it. Oh, and my girlfriend doesnt know that she will be "tackled" by 250 pound man, in a cape and wrestling mask. Gonna get her real facial expression! :)) hope she wont be too pissed..

Going to do some "storyboarding" videography of seallt for "a day in the life of a hot dog" with Beau Schafer. Hopefully can locate some good locations.

Need an alley for a fight scene and a scene for burger's death!

Did some more brainstorming for a "Hot Dog" movie short. Couple of people want to actually participate! Printed out permit booklet. Need to see what I can afford, and on what production do I need to improvise.

Need to make "HotDog" as cheap as possible, but still maintain the "bigger budget" look..

Worked on adding "film like effect" on the digital video. Didn't turn out that bad, i think. Still needs to be lighten up a bit, but with the right contrast/brighness it might work.

Need to work on creating fake bottle glass, and come up with cool shooting/fighting scene.

Didn't write a scrip, no shooting script, nothing. Just plain ol' raw footage. Time to edit.
Need to work on a better sound quality.

Finished writing up a rough draft for my 30 sec short "Rojo Grande". I'm sure there will be done some minor fixes. But come on, its only one page.. Will start writing up shooting script tomorrow!

Should also start working on formatting "A day in the life of a Hot Dog". Got the text file, but its still a sketch.. This one is going to be an interesting project!
